Another Channel relay success from the Lido Legends
FOGLs Jim Boucher, Rory Fitzgerald and Phil Newman completed their Channel relay at 1am this morning. Many congratulations to you all, yet another great achievement. What’s next?
Lido Legends are in the Channel today
Jim Boucher and his merry band of Lido Legends (well, 2 of them to be precise) are doing their Channel relay crossing today after several delays waiting for the weather conditions to improve and make it possible. Best of luck to you all.
Meeting held with Spectrum Leisure Services
FOGL representatives attended their first meeting with Claire Davenport, Jim Miles and Councillor Terence Patrick last Tuesday. There was much positive discussion and we were able to present interim findings from the survey. A full report of the meeting and our next steps will be posted here shortly.

Sunny days ahead
According to the BBC’s weather forecasts for Guildford, over the next few days it’s set fair with day time temperatures over 20 degrees. Needless to say it would be nice to be in our little treasure of a Lido but no chance of that till next year sadly.
