Let’s end the season with a bang not a whimper
This season is set to end on Sunday 6th September – at least a week earlier than last year. We’ve requested that this is reconsidered and have submitted a formal proposal to the Management.

Speedos survive the season in Guildford
Well, some good news from the FOGL newsdesk – unlike Alton Towers (see Sky news) there are no plans that we are aware of to ban Speedos at the Lido for the remainder of this season and (we hope) at no time in future.
Snack Shack open
Russell, Lido manager, tells us that the opening times for the Snack Shack – located in the extreme left corner of the grounds when viewed from the archway – are from 11:00 to 14:00 every day. End of season closure date
Bad news for any of us wanting to swim in our lovely Lido through September – closing date for the season is the weekend of 5th-6th September.
