This email and website are manned on a voluntary basis by an appointed FOGL committee member (which can change according to members’ availability as those involved in this aspect of FOGL all work full-time, so please be patient if we don’t manage a swift response). Email input from members is welcome and is passed onto relevant committee members, although we may not always be able to provide a detailed individual response due to time constraints.

The website reflects news and information relating directly or indirectly to Guildford Lido and importantly to news involving any Friends of Guildford Lido who are a hugely diverse range of swimmers, from long distance, competitive, open water swimmers, to families, children and leisurely dippers. We do our best to keep the site up to date and interesting and to provide a variety of stories that promote the enjoyment of the Lido and outdoor swimming, in line with our mission statement which is:

If you have any news or stories, photos or ideas that support this that you would like to see included on the website, then please contact us by email at the address above and we will be delighted to welcome all offers of stories, news, etc. Inevitably there is a seasonal nature to the Lido, so website activity and posts may reflect this seasonality.
