Pool opens this Saturday
Only a couple of days to wait before the Lido opens for the season.
The Mayor will officially open it at 9am, season ticket holders can get in and have their first swims of the season from 9.30am before the pool opens to the public at 10.30am.

Lido Lifeguard sets herself Charity Challenge
One of the Lido’s lifeguards, Catherine has set herself a pretty arduous challenge over the winter months in aid of 4 charities. She’ll be aiming to live off £10 per week until next June.

Channel attempt
One of our 2010 FOGL recruits, Hugh Thacker unfortunately didn’t succeed in his Channel attempt earlier this month, despite a truly valiant effort.
We are sorry Hugh didn’t achieve the “Mount Everest” of swimming, but really pleased for him that his fundraising has been remarkable and he’s enjoyed the experience….and redicovered our lovely Lido.
