Back in March, FOGL were asked to help a British film maker produce a film at the Lido which will feature Olympic swimmer Mark Foster. We’re delighted to confirm that the film is going ahead and FOGLs will have the chance to get more involved as extras and get a peek behind-the-scenes. The film is an original, new comedy that celebrates lido life – a British short film packed with all the fun and eccentricities of us Brits on a summer’s day. It follows a poor swimmer as he tries to swim a few lengths on the busiest day in summer… lots of extras will be needed and to be one of those considered first, and to help raise the funds needed for the film, the producers are asking for small donations of £3 – less than the cost of a Lido swim. Filming will take place over a weekend at the end of the season.
If you’d like to help make the film, get in the pool with Mark Foster and show your support for independent British film making, visit their website to read more and to make your donation:
