FOGL have been approached to help with a short film that will celebrate swimming, and highlight the need for more places to swim.  If agreement to film at the Lido can be secured, the film is likely to be shot at the end of the season and will have the support and involvement of Olympic swimmer, Mark Foster.

Whilst this film will entertain, it has a central theme – we need more places to swim in the UK.  The project aims to capture those familiar scenes and characters as it shows the beauty, the chaos and the humour of one man’s experiences in his quest for a simple swim. The film is a comedy and the swimming pool is the main location.

The team behind the film is currently raising funds and if it goes ahead, it will provide the Lido with publicity and be fun!
